INTRODUCTION:
Ahmedabad Aviation & Aeronautics Limited
(popularly known as AAA) started operations in
May 1994. The institute has greatly contributed to the 'operation'
wing of Indian Aviation Industry by
providing a number of qualified quality Pilots to
various Airlines & General Aviation.
Absence
of suitable organization in this region and the need
to have a pool of trained engineers to take care
of the operational suitability of aircraft,
AAA has launched
Western India Institute of Aeronautics
(WIIA), the only aircraft maintenance
engineering institute in Gujarat approved
by The Director General of Civil Aviation, Government
of India.
OBJECTIVE:
The
objective of WIIA is to create
a base for providing skilled & trained
Aircraft Maintenance Professionals to the
Airline Industry by imparting effective
ab-initio training in the field of Aircraft Maintenance Engineering.
